Summer Night Lights

Layout 1More than 1000 residents came along to Swan’s four Summer Night Lights events held over two weekends in Essex and London!

These events, offering something for everyone, were the most successful resident events that Swan has ever held!

Layout 1Led by Swan’s Resident Involvement and Community Development team, the events brought together 18 local partners including local authorities, Police, Fire Services, NHS, partner Housing Associations and community organisations who combined forces to provide fun filled, free events for residents.

In Essex, the two evening events included a live broadcast from local radio station Gateway FM and Talkaoke, a fun, interactive consultation where residents shared their ideas for an upcoming art project on Beechwood, and dramatic fire safety demonstrations.

In London, residents met some officers (and their horses) from the Mounted Branch of the Metropolitan Police, who showed off their skateboarding skills and enjoyed the food on offer.
