Do you need help in getting it going?

Community GrantsThe Swan Community Grant programme offers grants to community, voluntary or resident groups who would like to set up a small project in their neighbourhood.

If your idea falls into one of the following categories, you or your group can apply for a community grant:

  • Activities or projects that involve children and young people
  • Projects that help to improve a sense of community spirit, cohesion, pride and respect
  • Projects that help to make people feel safer and reduce the fear of crime
  • Projects that help to build the confidence and capacity of local residents to get more involved in their local community

Community Grant Application

Step 1 of 6

  • Enter the name of the group that is applying for funding.
  • The name of your project
  • The date of your application
  • Please give us a brief description of the normal activities your group carries out, for example “we are a residents’ association on x estate”, “we have just set up a mother and toddler group”, “we are a group of older residents who want to set up a regular coffee morning”
  • 4. Contact Details:

    Please give us contact details for someone in the group who knows about the application and can answer any questions we might have.
