Your frequently asked questions
Below are a few questions that we are regularly asked by you both in meetings and when you come into our reception areas. We hope you find them useful.
Q: How do I report Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)?
A: During office hours you can report ASB by contacting us in one of the following ways:
- Telephone us on 0300 303 2500
- On-line here at Web4Residents
(or go to ‘Living with Swan’ then ‘Anti- Social Behaviour’ and then ‘How can I report ASB’ on the Swan Website)
- Visit your local neighbourhood office.
- When our offices are closed you can still report Anti-Social Behaviour by telephoning our Out of Hours ASB Helpline on 0800 075 6699.
Q: Can I speak to someone at Axis about repairs in Bengali?
A: Yes. Both Swan and our repairs contractor Axis have access to telephone interpretation through Language Line. This means we can use a third person to talk to you in Bengali over the telephone if you find it difficult to talk to us in English. When you telephone Axis about a repair please say that you speak Bengali. The member of staff will then take your telephone number and call you back using a Language Line interpreter.
Q: When can I meet with the Welfare Benefits Advisor?
A: Please telephone us on 0300 303 2500 and say that you would like to meet with the Welfare Benefits Advisor in London. You can then make an appointment to see him in our offices or arrange for him to visit you at home if that is more convenient.
Q: How do I get involved with Swan?
A: Please telephone Abdullah Hossain or Mamnun Rahman (Community Development Officers) on 01277 844242. Abdullah and Mamnun will be happy to talk to you about resident involvement and community development.
