The Community Matters Money Show

Betar Bangla radio station on 1503 AM host a show which aims to help you avoid money problems and take back control. Join in the conversation on the last Thursday of every month between 4pm and 5pm. There is a mix of live guests that you can call to ask your questions. Forthcoming topics are:

29 June – Council Tax arrears

27 July – Mental Health and debt

31 August – Domestic Violence and debt

28 September – Financial Inclusion and debt

Please don’t feed the pigeons

dont feed the pigeonsLarge numbers of pigeons on the Estate are causing a nuisance to residents.

Pigeons carry infectious diseases such as chiamdiosis, which is similar to flu and salmonella and their droppings are slippery when wet. Over time the acid in the droppings can cause damage to buildings and result in insect infestations. Read more
