Swan has commissioned Social Life to carry out some research on Craylands in order to better understand needs, issues and aspirations of residents living there.
The research will help Swan identify the types of community activities and services needed and wanted by residents on the estate. Social Life, which is a small social enterprise staffed with experienced researchers, will be conducting interviews and focus groups with residents as well as representatives of local community groups and service providers.
The research will start in mid-July.
Swan now has planning approval to complete the remaining phases of our regeneration of Craylands. However, we still need the local community’s input on the key elements of the project, including the community hub and green spaces. We are therefore holding an information day on Saturday 28 January 2017 from 11am until 2pm at the Beech Community Centre. Please come along and give us your views. More information about the event can be found on the poster.
