Learn the skills of a firefighter!

We’re working with Essex Fire & Rescue Service  to bring Swan residents aged 18-24 the chance to learn the skills of a Firefighter on a Firebreak Course.

Training includes; ladder exercises, first aid, casualty care, breathing exercises etc. and will be held at Basildon Fire Station.

Gain Level 3 Accreditation in mobile phone and tablet repair

This fantastic course is FREE to Swan residents!

Train to gain an accredited Level 3 qualification in mobile phone & tablet repair. You must come and register on Thurs 25 Jan between 4.30-6pm at The Reach Community Hub, Blackwall Reach, London. This course is suitable for over 16’s.

The Basildon Volunteers Awards

Ann was selected by Swan's Executive team for her long term voluntary work Supporting our local communities is paramount to Swan’s social purpose. On Monday evening (10 October), Swan Chief Executive Officer John Synnuck attended the Basildon, Billericay and Wickford Volunteer awards which were organised by Basildon Borough Council, to both present an award and to support one of our own shortlisted residents. Are you, or is someone you know, looking for some voluntary work to add to your CV? Have you got a few hours a month to spare? Do you have an eye for detail and like things to be neat and tidy?

At Swan we take pride in the appearance of our blocks and estates and we want to ensure that our estate services offer you value for money.

Resident Inspectors are valuable volunteers who carry out independent estate inspections and give us honest feedback about the standard of cleaning, gardening, repairs and Anti-Social Behaviour in the area.

Resident Inspectors receive a uniform, comprehensive training all expenses are fully reimbursed and receive Love2Shop high street vouchers.
